As I mentioned earlier, my first experience with a Macintosh computer was very brief. It wasn't till several years later, around late 1990 or early 1991 that I really get on the Macintosh band wagon. My brother Rob had purchased a Mac SE30 around that time. He was very excited about it, and would always try to show me things on it every time I was at his apartment. It pretty much fell on deaf ears.
I was still using my Commodore 64 for all my computing needs, but that all changed when I could no longer find ribbons for my dot matrix printer. My friend Jeff Pazen also purchased a Macintosh Plus around the same time, but almost never used it. So I borrowed his Mac Plus for a few days to do some writing. The few days turned into weeks, then months. I was hooked. I finally purchased my own Macintosh IIci in the fall of 1991.
I soon became the Macintosh help source for my friends & family. Friends who had Macintosh computers for years before I did, were calling me for help. So what started out as a casual thing soon turned into a business.
